What is the dress code?
The dress code for hospitality venues is smart casual. Casual trousers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are acceptable. Sports trainers, fancy dress and flip flops are not permitted.

Due to the unpredictable British weather, we suggest you are prepared for any eventuality.  We suggest bringing sun cream and an umbrella just in case!

Are there bars at Lord's outside of my hospitality suite?
Outside of your hospitality experience, please note that Lord's is a completely cashless Ground.  So if you wish to visit the public concessions or merchandise store onsite you will need to pay with cashless methods.

What is the child policy?
Children are permitted into 1868 but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.  Babes in arms are permitted in the stands and children aged 3 or over must have a full valid ticket.  

We advise against bringing pushchairs along to the Ground on Test Match Days.  You will appreciate that the Ground gets very full indeed, and unfortunately we don’t have any dedicated space for pushchair storage.

Please contact ops@the.team if you intend to bring a child under the age of 3 so we can make suitable arrangements.

Is there a cloakroom?
There is no luggage storage at Lord's, so it's best to travel light. Unfortunately there is no dedicated cloakroom in 1868.

Do you offer support for attendees with access needs?
Both entrances into the 1868 restaurant are accessible via ramps, and seats associated with 1868 are also accessible. If you have any access requirements such as wheelchair accessible seating or step-free access, please contact us at ops@the.team to discuss.

How do I submit any dietary requirements?
It is important that you tell us of any allergens (including if they are airborne) or dietary requirements two weeks in advance, highlighting the name(s) of the individual(s) with the allergen/dietary requirements(s). This is so the catering team can accommodate your guests' needs, or contact you to discuss further.  If you haven't yet provided this information, please contact Ruby at ops@the.team.

Will I miss lunch if I arrive late?
Please note that lunch and afternoon tea are served within short timeframes to maximise the time you spend in your seat. If you’re keen not to miss any of the action, just let a member of staff know on arrival and we’ll do our best to prioritise your service.
 

Where is 1868 located within the Lord's Ground?
1868 is situated next to the Grace Gates. Enter through the private hospitality entrance on St John’s Wood Road.

How do I get to Lord's Cricket Ground?
St. John’s Wood is the closest tube station to the Ground (approximately five minutes’ walk), while Baker Street, Warwick Avenue, Marylebone and Edgware Road are all also within 15 minutes’ walk. Are there any car parking options?
There is no car parking at Lord’s due to space restrictions on major match days or the three days beforehand. The MCC encourages all visitors to use public transport whenever possible. For information on how to get to the Ground, please click here. Lord's - Plan your day

Is there a bag policy?
Only bring essential items with you and leave larger bags at home as there is limited space available under your seat to accommodate items. Suitcases and larger items will not be permitted into the Ground. You can expect to be searched on entry so please follow the guidance given by stewards and security staff.

Are there any other entry requirements I need to know?
Fancy dress, musical instruments and flags are not permitted at Lord's.  

With 25 water fountains at Lord's, spectators are encouraged to bring their own refillable bottles to top-up around the Ground.  Water fountains can be found behind the Grand Stand, the Compton Stand, the Mound Stand and the Allen Stand.
